6、 Adjustable resistors are best used in voltage adjustment structures, and current adjustment structures should be avoided because the contact resistance between the resistor and the contact piece is not conducive to the passage of large currents.
7、 Adjustable resistors may cause damage to the potentiometer if the welding temperature is too high or the welding time is too long during welding.
8、 The terminal welding of the plug-in adjustable resistor should be completed within 3 seconds at 235 ℃&5 ℃, and the welding should be at least 1.5mm away from the potentiometer body. Do not use solder to flow through the circuit board during welding.
9、 Most adjustable resistor bodies are made of synthetic resins containing polycarbonate, and contact with other amines such as ammonia should be avoided, as this may affect their performance.
10、 The shaft or sliding handle with adjustable resistance should be designed as short as possible. The shorter the length of the shaft or sliding handle, the better and more stable the feel. On the contrary, the longer the shaking, the greater the sensation.
11、 Terminals with adjustable resistors should avoid using water-based flux during welding, otherwise it will promote metal oxidation and material mold;
12、 When using, it is important to avoid using inferior soldering flux. Poor soldering may cause difficulty in soldering, resulting in poor contact or open circuit.
